What Obasanjo Would Have Done To Boko Haram, ISWAP As Nigeria’s President – Fani-Kayode
A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, says the Boko Haram menace ravaging Nigeria, would have been over if former President, Olusegun Obasanjo was still in power.
Naija News reports that the former minister who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, made this comment on the micro-blogging site, Twitter in reaction to the current insecurity in Nigeria.
The former Aviation Minister said Obasanjo as Nigeria’s President would have crushed Book Haram, ISWAP and Fulani militias if he was the current president of Nigeria. Naija News reports that Muhammadu is the current President of Nigeria. Buhari assumed power on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
His words: “If OBJ had been in power today the terrorists that plague our land would have been history.
“He was a President that loved his people and that had integrity, courage, power and strength.
“He would have crushed BH, ISWA and the Fulani militias & despatched them to hell long ago,” the former minister tweeted.

Fani-Kayode’s tweet came after Boko Haram terrorist group attacked Garkida, a town in Gombi, a local government area in Adamawa State, northern Nigeria The insurgents killed people and destroyed properties.
Before the attack on Garkida, the Boko Haram terrorists also attacked Auno in Maiduguri, Borno State, northern Nigeria, killing 30 people in the process.
