President Buhari Appoints New NDDC Acting MD, Enlarges Committee

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei as the new Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Naija News reports that Pondei will be taking over from Barr Joy Nunieh as Acting Managing Director of the commission following the reshuffling of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the NDDC.

This online news platform understands that President Buhari also increased the number of committee members from three to five persons.

Naija News understands that the new committee members are: Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Ag. Executive Director (Projects); Mr Ibanga Bassey Etang, Ag. Executive Director (Finance and Administration); Mrs Caroline Nagbo (Member); and Cecilia Bukola Akintomide, OON, a former Vice President with African Development Bank, (member).
