The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has reacted to the call for his removal as the leader of the party by some protesters.

The former Governor of Edo State while speaking on the development with Channels Television in Kaduna State on Monday, stated that he will not react to the non-existing group.

Naija News had reported on Monday that a group of protesters stormed the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja to demand the removal of Oshiomhole as the party’s National Chairman.

The group under the aegis of Concerned All Progressives Congress also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the operation of the party under the leadership of Oshiomhole.

The protest is coming after the party lost its governorship seat to the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa State.

The Supreme Court had sacked David Lyon of APC and declared Douye Diri governor of Bayelsa State, despite Oshiomhole threating that nobody would be sworn-in as governor.

The party is in crisis ahead of the governorship election in Edo and Ondo State which could lead to their defeat during the electoral process.
