Loyalists of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has started compiling evidence of criminal threats against the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.

The Edo State chapter of the party has been in crisis due to the disagreement between the former governor of the state, Oshiomhole and Governor Obaseki.

Recall that the Edo State Governor wrote to the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, calling for the immediate prosecution of Oshiomhole for violating the state government’s order banning political rallies in the state

One of Oshiomhole’s loyalist who spoke with Punch revealed that they have started gathering criminal evidence against Governor Obaseki.

The source while speaking said: “We know who is fuelling violence in the state. The governor had at different forums made inciting remarks against our leader, so who is causing trouble in the state?”

“Our campaign venues came under attacks twice in the last month, with the stage destroyed.”

“They are behaving like the proverbial ostrich but we know their antics. The police boss must be informed about who the real lawbreakers are.”
