Nigerian professional footballer and defensive midfielder for Turkish club, Trabzonspor, John Obi Mikel has been reportedly ruled out in the Turkish Super Lig match against Besiktas which is scheduled for coming Saturday at the Vodafone Arena, due to suspension.

Naija News understands that the former Super Eagles captain bagged the suspension following a fourth yellow card issued to him in the 90th-minute of their last Sunday clash against Sivasspor, which saw them to a 2-1 victory.

Therefore, as a result of the last card obtained, Mikel will not be featuring in the match with Besiktas.

Meanwhile, reporting earlier, former Arsenal head coach, Arsene Wenger says Manchester City must be punished if they are found guilty of breaching UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rule.

Wenger also aimed a dig at City, accusing the club of luring his players with big money while he was managing Arsenal.
