Gunmen Kidnap Catholic Priest, Others In Fresh Attack In Enugu

Reports reaching Naija News on Monday morning alleged that some unknown gunmen had kidnapped some passengers travelling on a major road in Kogi State at the evening hour of Sunday.

According to the report, on Sunday evening at about 6:00 pm, some unidentified gunmen attacked a car along the Lokoja-Kabba road and kidnapped about 6 people who were travelling on the road.

However, details of the victims are still uncertain as investigations are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, all attempt to receive a statement from the Police State Command prove abortive as the Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, could not pick his calls when reached.

In another news, Naija News had reported that the minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, reportedly escaped a kidnap attempt at Rigasa train station On Sunday evening.

An online news platform, Daily Nigerian claimed that the laid an ambush around Mando area and attempted to ambush the passengers, who arrived at Rigasa train station in the evening.

The train reportedly arrived at Rigasa train station around 8:15 pm.
