Nigerians Reacts As INEC Takes Final Decision On Bayelsa Gubers

Following the ruling of the Supreme court yesterday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), through its chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has declared PDP candidate, Douye Diri as the duly elected Bayelsa State governor.

Prof Yakubu who addressed newsmen in Abuja after a closed-door meeting with some National Commissioners at the Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja said the decision is in compliance with the Supreme Court judgment of Thursday.

He further presented the Certificate of Return to Senator Duoye Diri as the duly elected governor of Bayelsa State.
