The enrolled order of the judgement the Supreme Court which sacked the governor-elect of Bayelsa State, south-south Nigeria, David Lyon, and his Deputy, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremieoyo, has emerged.

Biafra: Why Supreme Court Sacked David Lyon As Bayelsa Governor-Elect – Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says Supreme Court’s declaration of Douye Diri as the governor-elect of Bayelsa State and the sacking of David Lyon, is a means of diverting the attention of Nigerians from the the judgment it delivered in Imo State in favour Hope Uzodinma.

Naija News reports that Kanu made this statement during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Thursday evening in reaction to Lyon’s sacking by the Supreme Court.

APC Chairman Oshiomhole Explodes As Supreme Court Sacks Bayelsa Governor-Elect, David Lyon

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has described the Supreme Court’s declaration of Douye Diri as the govenor-elect of Bayelsa State and the sacking of David Lyon, means that Bayelsa State will stay without a governor.

PDP Reacts As Supreme Court Sacks David Lyon

The Peoples Democratic Party has reacted to the nullification of the election of Bayelsa state All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, David Lyon, as he prepares to be sworn-in on Friday.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Supreme Court had disqualified Lyon’s deputy, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo for presenting false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in aid of his qualification for the November 16 governorship election in State.

Federal Government claims that it has paid the N200,000 fine accrued to Omoyele Sowore, Sahara reporters publisher and convener of the #RevolutionNow.
