10 Newborn Babies Die In Hospital Fire

A part of the family house of former Nigerian leader, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was on Wednesday destroyed by fire.

The family house gutted by fire on Wednesday is located at Ita-Eko in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Naija News understands the fire outbreak started around 9pm and only affected the boys’ quarters area of the property.

The fire was put out before it could spread to other areas of the property.

“The house is where Obasanjo’s parents lived. It is an old house. It is not the main residence of the former president,” a source said.

This online platform, however, understands Chief Obasanjo was not in the country when the incident happened as he was away at the AU meeting in Ethiopia.
