A few days after his release from prison, Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, the ex-lawmaker has disclosed on his twitter handle that President Muhammadu Buhari has been ruling in deceit over the years, noting that truth was not being told to the President as regards insecurity in Nigeria.

A former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Farida Waziri has revealed that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Shehu Musa Yar’Adua were wrongly jailed for their alleged roles in the 1995 coup attempt in Nigeria.

She disclosed that the final report of the special investigative panel that worked on the trial of the alleged coup plotters was greatly influenced by some people in government as at that time.

Boko Haram insurgents have reportedly attacked Tungoshe community, about 20km from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
