Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Mohammed Adoke (SAN) and Aliyu Abubakar, who were arraigned by the EFCC on Monday morning, have been granted bail.

They were granted bail on the term and conditions already granted by Justice Idris Kutigi of the FCT high court sitting in Gwagwalada

Naija News recalls that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) refused to comply with the first court order which released Adoke on bail.

Meanwhile, the former  Minister of Justice earlier today begged the Federal High Court in Abuja to remand him at Kuje Correctional Center instead of leaving him in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC if the bail requested for won’t be granted.

Meanwhile, this online platform also gathered from a report that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Judicial Reforms Adviser, Juliet Ibekaku-Nwagwu has allegedly benefited from part of an N150m largesse from Adoke’s Malabu oil deal scandal.
