Boko Haram: Stop Claiming Boko Haram Has Been Defeated – Fani-Kayode Attack Buhari’s Government

The Minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode has called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to stop claiming that the Boko Haram insurgent has been technically defeated.

The former Minister stated this while condemning the recent Boko Haram attack that led to the death of about thirty people in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Fani-Kayode who took to his Twitter account to react to the attack wondered when the Federal Government would live up to the security of the lives and properties of Nigerians.

He wrote: “30 people killed by Boko Haram & many abducted in Maiduguri, Borno state today. Is the FG still claiming that Boko Haram has been “technically defeated?”

“How cruel & insensitive can they be & when will they live up to their duties & honor their obligation to defend our people?”

Naija News had earlier reported that the terrorist group on Sunday attacked Auno along the Maiduguri, Damaturu road and killed about thirty people, while vehicles were destroyed.
