Imo PDP Accuses APC Of Orchestrating Fire Outbreak At INEC Office

The Imo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has condemned the recent fire outbreak at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Orlu Local Government Area of the state.

The party described the fire outbreak at the INEC office as a major characteristic associated with the All Progressives Congress.

PDP in a statement released through its spokesperson, Damian Opara, claimed that the ruling party is known for political brigandage and other social vices that have negative commentary on the state in the last eight years of the party’s misrule.

Recall that the governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma had allegedly accused INEC officials in the Southeast of conniving with the PDP to upturn election results.

The party called on the security agencies in the state to investigate the incident and make sure that the perpetrators face the wrath of the law no matter how highly placed the individual is.
