The suspected bomber, Nathaniel Samuel, arrested on Sunday at the Living Faith Church located at Sabon Tasha, has confessed that he is indeed a Christian.

Recall that the Kaduna State Police Command on Sunday arrested the suspect with a bomb inside the church located at Sabon Tasha in Chukun Local Government Area of the state.

The failed attack stirred reactions on social media platforms as some revealed that the suspect was not a Christain but a Muslim.

The Minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode, had revealed that the real name of the attempted suicide bomber was Mohammed Nasiru Sani.

However, the suspect while being paraded on Monday by the state police command claimed that his name is Nathaniel and not Mohammed Nasiru Sani as being speculated.

Nathaniel added that he was meant to be a pastor, he noted that he attended the Leadership and Training Institute of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Word of Faith Bible Institute.

“My name is Nathaniel Samuel. In fact, I am supposed to be a pastor at the Living Faith Church because I did the Word of Faith Bible Institute. There is no way by accident that my name is Mohammed. My name is Nathaniel.”

“I was in the church service early in the morning for the first service, I went at around past 8, while I was listening to the sermon all of a sudden I had a stomach ache and decided to use the toilet.”

“A day before then I went for an event at Sabo was some of us were given fireworks not explosives. I’m not a suicide bomber but a decorator.”
