Kwara: Hoodlums Vandalize ATM, Cart Away Money And Set Machines On Fire

Two ATM of a bank (name withheld) in Kwara State was vandalized by unknown hoodlums on Thursday and an undisclosed amount of money was carted away while the ATM machines were set on fire.

The Kwara State Police Command while reacting to the incident noted that it has launched a manhunt for the perpetrators of the ATM vandalization in Ilorin.

The Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, condemned the incident and promised that the perpetrators of the ATM vandalization will be apprehended

CP Egbetokun called on the public with useful information that can lead to the arrest of these hoodlums to come forward.

He further stated that investigation is in progress and the perpetrators will be made to face the wrath of the law.

Members of the public were advised to go about their daily activity without fear, while people were assured of the safety of their lives and properties.
