Breaking: More Trouble For 'Fleeing' Maina As Lawyer Applies To Quit Case

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has accepted the Plea of the former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, who is being tried for corruption.
Naija News understands that Maina and his counsel appealed to the court in a fresh ruling, review his bail condition
However, Justice Okon Abang, who gave the ruling, admitted Maina to bail condition in the sum of N500 million with a surety in the like sum who must be a serving senator.

The judge also ruled that the surety, should not have any criminal case pending in any court, must have a landed property fully developed in either Maitama, Asokoro, Katampe or Central Business Districts of Abuja with a certificate of occupancy attached as evidence.

Naija News recalled that the former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) and his son, Faisal was dragged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly misappropriating pension fund of over N100 billion and money laundering.
