Boko Haram suicide bombers on Sunday attacked a mosque in Gwoza, Borno state, killing a 12-year-old child and leaving many injured, Naija News understands.

According to The Cable, a security source said the suicide bombers forced their way into the mosque while prayer was ongoing.

2. INEC Declares APC Winner Of Kaduna Rerun Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the winner for the re-run election for Kagarko constituency of Kaduna State held on Saturday.

The Local government collation and returning officer, Dr Haruna Aminu, declared the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Nuhu Goroh Shadalafiya, as the winner.

3. Ihedioha: Gulak Speaks On Mbaka’s Prediction of Uzodinma’s Victory

The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2019 Gubernatorial Primary Election committee in Imo State, Ahmed Ali Gulak, has downplayed the prediction of Hope Uzodinma’s victory by Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka.

Naija News understands that the Buhari government filed a counter-affidavit before the court to oppose an application filed in April last year by Kanu seeking the restoration of his bail.
