Plateau State: Ten People Killed As Gun Men Attacks Village

Unknown gunmen on Sunday killed ten people at Kwatas village, in Bokkos Local Government of Area of Plateau State.

A further report revealed that the former Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Titus Alams is from the village that was attacked.

It was gathered that the affected village, a community around the state university, was attacked on Sunday at about 9 pm.

The attack on the village led to the death of ten people who corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary in Bokkos town.

The attack is coming a few weeks after some unknown gunmen attacked Kulben village, in Mangu LGA of the state and twelve people were killed in the attack.

The incident was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command, ASP Gabriel Ubah.

Ubah while speaking on the attack said, “But as we speak, I cannot tell you much, because we are on our way to the scene of the incident, it is after that I can give you full details”.
