1. Biafra: Buhari Govt Tables Fresh Request Before Court Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Bail

The Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to reject a request by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to restore his revoked bail. Naija News understands that the Buhari government filed a counter-affidavit before the court to oppose an application filed in April last year by Kanu seeking the restoration of his bail. The prosecuting counsel, Magaji Labaran filed the Federal Government’s objection to the application on January 17, 2020.

2. Facebook ‘Clamps Down On Biafra’, Shuts Down Nnamdi Kanu’s Page

Social Media Network, Facebook, has shut down the page of Nnamdi Kanu, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in what appears to be a clampdown on Biafra agitation championed by the IPOB leader. Naija News reports that Kanu’s group, the IPOB made this claim in a statement issued on Thursday, January 23 by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful.

3. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Releases Fresh Proof Against Buhari On ‘Jubril Of Sudan’

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has again alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead and that the person in Aso Rock, Nigeria’s presidential villa, is an impostor whose name is Jubril Al-Sudani from Sudan. Naija News reports that since Kanu resurfaced in Israel in October 2018, he has been alleging that President Buhari is an impostor, a claim which the President quashed after the IPOB leader presented what he described as “scientific proof.”

4. Biafra: ‘Let Us Go’ – Onyeka Onwenu Begs Buhari Govt (Video)

Legendary Nigerian songwriter and singer, Onyeka Onwenu, has asked the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari to “let Igbos go” if Nigeria does not want them. Naija News reports that the Nigerian legendary singer made this statement at a conference tagged: “Never Again Conference: Nigerian Civil War 50 Years After” in commemoration with the Biafra War 50th Anniversary.

5. Gowon Finally Opens Up On Biafra, Ojukwu 50 Years After

Yakubu Gowon, Nigeria’s wartime Head of State, has finally opened up on Biafra, late warlord Chukwuemeka Ojukwu and Aburi conference 50 years after the war. Naija News reports that the General opened up on some inside details of what transpired before, during and after the nation’s three-year civil war in a small version of “General Gowon’s War Memoirs.”

6. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Bombs Father Mbaka Over Prophecy On Ihedioha, Hope Uzodinma

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has berated Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka for predicting the sacking of Emeka Ihedioha and the emergence of Hope Uzodinma as the governor of Imo State, southeast Nigeria. Naija News had reported earlier that the Supreme court sacked Emeka Ihedioha as governor of Imo state and affirmed Uzodinma as the winner of the March 9 governorship election.

7. Biafra: Day Ojukwu Shed Tears Over Nigerian Soldiers – Ex-ADC

Obi Udezue Onubogu, a former security officer to a warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, says the day the defunct Biafra Head of State shed tears, was over Nigerian soldiers that were captured by Biafran fighters. Naija News reports that Onubogu, who was a young police officer when hostilities broke out leading to the declaration of the Republic of Biafra by Ojukwu, the then Governor of Eastern region, made this revelation during an interview with The Sun Newspaper.

8. Nnamdi Kanu To Storm Nigeria For Parents’ Burial

Barring any last-minute change, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, will return to Nigeria for the burial ceremony of his parents, Naija News understands. Naija News had reported earlier that Nnamdi Kanu‘s parents, late HRH Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife late Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Okwu-Kanu will be buried on Valentine’s day, Friday, February 14, 2020.

9. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Explodes Over Hope Uzodinma’s Emergence As Imo Governor

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has condemned the emergence of Hope Uzodinma as the Executive Governor of Imo State, saying the former senator is allowed as a governor “we are finished as a people.” Naija News reports that Kanu made this statement during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Wednesday, January 15, to mark the “Biafra War 50th Anniversary.”

10. Biafra: Buhari Fighting War Against Igbo In Nigeria – Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says the administration of President Muhamadu Buhari is still fighting a war against the Igbo people as if the Nigerian Civil War has not ended. Naija News reports that Kanu made this statement during the live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Wednesday, January 15, to mark the “Biafra War 50th Anniversary.”

11. Biafra: IPOB To Back Operation Amotekun – Nnamdi Kanu

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed to support the newly established South-west security outfit, Amotekun. 12. Biafra: Date Fixed For Burial Of Nnamdi Kanu’s Parents

Nnamdi Kanu‘s parents late HRH Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife late Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Okwu-Kanu will be buried on Valentine’s day, Friday, February 14, 2020. Naija News reports that this was disclosed by Prince Emmanuel Okwu Kanu, the youngest son of the late monarch on Monday while addressing members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) from Isiala Ngwa local government area of Abia state who paid the family a condolence visit.
