Lagos State Local Government Chairman Is Dead

The Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development chairman in Lagos State, Abulfatai Oyesanya, aka Oyesco, is announced dead.

It was gathered that he is an indigene of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, died on Tuesday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital( LASUTH) after battling with an undisclosed illness since December 2019.

The Deputy Chairman of the LCDA, Abolanle Onikosi, who confirmed the incident said he was a good man who did right during his tenure and will be missed.

He said further that he was buried in his hometown around 7 pm on Tuesday in accordance with Islamic rites.

His funeral was attended by some faithful party and council workers, led by the Chief Imam of Ijebu Ode, Sheikh Miftaudeen Ayanbadejo.

The deceased is survived by a wife and four children.
