Dump NNPP And Join APC - Ganduje Tells Governor Yusuf Of Kano

Sulaiman Bichi, the Kano State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reportedly dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A source close to the party chairman told Daily Nigeria that Bichi’s decision to join the APC was based on principles and personal conviction.

“The decision of Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi was not related to the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement. It was purely based on principles and personal conviction.

“In the affairs of Kwankwasiyya, Rabiu Bichi has been lately rendered irrelevant, ostracised and sidelined from the decision-making of the Kwankwasiyya movement. Despite his commitment to the cause, he was looked down upon as a saboteur,” the source added.

Naija News reports that the Supreme Court had affirmed that Governor Abdullahi Ganduje was the duly elected governor of Kano State.

Delivering judgment on Monday, the seven-man panel of Justices of the Supreme Court upheld Ganduje’s election and dismissed the appeal by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abba Yusuf.

The apex court by its ruling in a unanimous decision by the panel on Monday has now laid to rest, all matters surrounding the 2019 governorship election in Kano State.
