Photos: We Want Ihedioha Not Uzodinma, Imo People Protests

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Imo state has taken the streets with placards demanding that their candidate be crowned the winner of the state governorship elections and not the person in the office.

Naija News understands that since the apex court declared Uzodinma the winner of the election, there have been diverse reactions all over the state and the country at large as many disagree with the court’s verdict, noting that the candidate declared emerged 4th from the election result, they are displeased with the decision of the supreme court that declared him the winner.

Ihedioha Emeka’s lovers have filled the street of Imo State with a protest in their numbers across the city, stating that they want him as their Governor and not the one in office.

The angry protesters also demand that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, be kicked out as the CJN following his rule which sacked their choice of candidate in the Imo State governorship election.

Naija News recalls that the Supreme Court of Nigeria headed by Justice Tanko Muhammad has sacked the incumbent, Governor Emeka Ihedioha from office, declaring Hope Uzodinma, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the election.
