The National Film and Video Censors Board NFVCB has returned to the cinemas, the movie ‘Sugar Rush” just a week after it was banned by the Federal Government.

This was announced by the National Film and Video Censors Board NFVCB through its Twitter handle earlier today.

Although in a tweet last week Banky W, Nigerian Musician, Politician and Actor wrote a heartfelt note to fans of the movie, following the ban of the movie from Nigerian cinemas for ‘depicting’ the operations of EFCC in a relatively ‘poor way’.

The NFVCB, however, said it yanked off the movie from cinemas on grounds hat the temporary approval for the movie had elapsed and that for it to continue showing in cinemas, it must receive its final approval.

Through its boss, Thomas Adedayo, the board said it was taking the blame for failing to grant the final approval for the movie due to his busy schedule.
