Civil servants with diligence and good work in Sokoto state have been noticed and rewarded with the position of permanent secretaries by the state governor.

Naija News understands that the appointments were made to fill up the lingering open positions in the state which needed to be occupied to deliver better services.

According to Muhammad Bello, Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs to Gov. Aminu Tambuwal, in a statement on Wednesday, he disclosed that the governor has appointed Malam Abdullahi Danko, his former Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, and three others as permanent secretaries in the state.

Other three appointees include; Hajiya Amina Jekada, Alhaji Shehu Bandi and Hussaini Gobir.

Speaking about the appointment, Bello stated that the new appointees recommended for the positions as a result of their hard work.

He said;
“In this regard, experienced and hard-working officers were identified and found worthy for the appointment as permanent secretaries.
“The action is based on a circular to that effect by the state’s Head of Civil Service, Dr. Buhari Kware,”

In another news, Naija News had reported that Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has called for better care and attention to the welfare of families left behind by fallen heroes, saying that is the way to show gratitude for their selfless service to the country.

“For the living and families of the fallen heroes, we have to continue to pray for them, support them, engage them and thank them for their service to Nigeria,” he told reporters shortly after laying the wreath and performing other ceremonies at the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Ilorin, the state capital.

AbdulRazaq commended the departed heroes for their selfless service in protecting the territorial integrity of the country and strengthening the unity, peace and security of the nation.
