Real Madrid has confirmed the loan departure of 20-year-old goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin to link up with Real Oviedo till the end of the season.

The young Ukrainian shot-stopper will be hoping to earn more playtime and experience with Oviedo who play in the Segunda Division of the Spanish League.

The player’s move was confirmed in a statement on Real Madrid’s website on Wednesday which read: “Real Madrid CF and Real Oviedo have agreed to the transfer of Andriy Lunin for this season, until June 30, 2020.

Naija News understands Lunin who joined the Los Blancos from Zorya Luhansk in 2018, is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Madrid team having been previously shipped out on loan to Leganes and Valladolid.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will next take on Sevilla on Saturday in a La Liga fixture.
