Trouble befell a man for allegedly raping his own daughter who is 16 years of age.

The man identified as Stephen has been remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Service, by Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court, for allegedly having sexual knowledge of his daughter without her consent.

Naija News understands that the 37-year-old man who is a resident of Alakuko in Lagos was remanded on Wednesday on the count of rape.

According to the report made available in court, the prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, said that Stephen had forcefully raped his own daughter without her consent on December 24, last year at his residence.

“The case was reported to the police and the defendant was arrested,”

“The offence contravened Section 260 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015,” said John.

After all-hearing, the Chief Magistrate, Mr P.E. Nwaka, shows no mercy as he ordered that the case file be sent to the Director of Public Prosecution for advice.

He, however, adjourned the case until February 13, for further hearing.
