Transfer: Barcelona Set To Sack Valverde

La Liga Champion, Barcelona has inform the club manager, Ernesto Valverde, that he will be sacked.

According to sport, Quique Setien’s is closing in on the Barcelona job after his agent arrived in the city to discuss a deal with the club.

There had been speculations that the club manager will be sacked following the recent defeat to Atletico Madrid in the semi final of the Super Cup.

Xavi, Mauricio Pochettino and Quique Setien are among the coaches linked with replacing him at Camp Nou.

Setien has emerged as favourite to succeed him and has been tipped to put pen-to-paper on a deal until the end of the season.
