A barrage of reaction from Nigerians has greeted the social media space after an audio leaked online purportedly of a conversation between the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the audio leak, a voice suspected to be that of Amaechi could be heard convincing the president to borrow $30billion to finance infrastructural development in the country.
The Minister could also be heard promising to go to jail on the President’s behalf should anything go wrong.
“Let’s borrow $30billion, Nigerians can say whatever they like,” said the voice in the audio which is now making rounds on the social media.

Meanwhile, Naija News recalls that Chief Rotimi Amaechi, some months ago dared members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu, to attack him abroad.
Amaechi made this comment in reaction to claims that politicians in Nigeria are afraid of travelling abroad after the attack on a former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, by IPOB members.
