Israel Warns Iran Against Planned Attack

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran against carrying out its threat to bomb his country.

In his reaction on Wednesday, Netanyahu warned that Israel would strike a “resounding blow” if attacked by Iran.

“Anyone who attacks us will receive a resounding blow,” the Prime Minister is quoted by Nigeria News to have told a Jerusalem conference.

It will be recalled as earlier reported by Naija News that Iran had threatened to attack Haifa, Israel, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates should the United States retaliate the ballistic missiles it launched at a coalition military base in Iraq.

The threat from Iran comes after it claimed responsibility for the launch of more than a dozen missiles which were fired at two Iraqi military bases hosting coalition including US troops.

The missiles were targeted at the Ain al-Assad base in Anbar province and a facility near Erbil’s airport in northern Iraq very early Wednesday morning.

The missile attack are said to be a retaliation for the US killing of a top Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani which has led to the escalation of tension in the middle east and other countries.
