Okowa's Former Classmate Opens Up On His Cerificate Saga

The Supreme Court of Nigeria, sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, has affirmed the election of Ifeanyi Okowa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the Governor of Abia State, Southeast Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the apex court delivered the final judgment on Ikpeazu’s election on Wednesday, January 8, dismissing the appeal brought before it by Great Ogboru of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Supreme Court in a unanimous judgment delivered by Justice Centus Nweze held that the appellant failed to prove allegations of over-voting.

The Supreme Court said that the appeal is a waste of the precious time of the Apex Court.

Justice Nweze further added that the decisions of the apex court on the position of card readers are too numerous to begin to mention them or for the appellant to claim they are not in the know.
