Juve Warn Off Man Utd In Emre Can Chase

Juventus football director, Fabio Paratici has ruled out a January move to Manchester United for German midfielder, Emre Can.

Paratici who described the German playmaker as one of the most coveted midfielders was quoted as telling Sky Sport Italia that the player is staying with Juventus.

The 25-year-old moved across to Juventus after his contract with Liverpool expired in the summer of 2018 but has gradually seen his game time reduce under Juve Coach Maurizio Sarri with the player only making two Serie A starts since the start of the current season.

However, Paratici has categorically stated that Juve is not ready to let go of the player.

“He is staying with us.” “He is one of the most coveted midfielders.

“He has some opportunities and so do we, but I think he can be an important player for our project,” Paratici said.

Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was said to be interested in bringing Can to Old Trafford to solve his midfield problems.

Can has been heavily linked with a move away from Italy, along with Adrien Rabiot who has also dropped down the pecking order in Turin.
