The Managing Director of Rural Electrification Agency, Mrs Damilola Ogunbiyi has been reversed of her role suspension, following an order by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ogunbiyi, whose suspension was made public in December following the order of suspension by Minister Power, Sale Mamman, has now been reversed.
Naija News understands that her Ogunbiyi’s resignation was accepted to enable her to take up a new offer from the UN, according to the presidency.
The Presidency tweet reads thus;
“President @MBuhari has directed that the suspension of Mrs Damilola Ogunbiyi from her role as Managing Director of @realREANigeria, be reserved,”
“Her resignation effective 31 December 2019 has been accepted to enable her take up her new @UN appointment.”
