Save Sudan From Violent Conflict - NSCIA Appeals To Nigerian Gov't

Muslims in Nigeria has been charged by the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs to exercise self-discipline over the death of Iran military commander, Qasem Soleimani.

The group in a statement through its spokesperson, Ibrah‫im Aselemi, urged youths not to be moved into violence by their emotions so as to ensure peace at all times.

NSCIA further stated that the disagreement between the U.S. and Iran over the death of Soleimani can only be resolved through diplomatic dialogue.

The body wrote, “The attention of NSCIA has been drawn to a planned peaceful protest by some Muslim youths in the country to vent their anger over the killing of Iranian top military commander, Gen. Qasem Soleimani in Iraq.”

“Although protests are an integral part of civil democracy all over the world, NSCIA believes that the timing is wrong”.

The death of Soleimani, who is the Revolutionary Guard General and head of the elite Quds Force, at the Baghdad International Airport has stirred speculations of a third world war.

A US-backed airstrike had killed Soleimani, who is the Revolutionary Guard General and head of the elite Quds Force, at Baghdad International Airport.

The President of the U.S., Donald Trump, in a statement, had claimed that the Iran military head was planning to kill American citizens but was caught in the process.
