N-Power Sends New Year Message To Beneficiaries

N-Power, the social intervention scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria which currently employs thousands of Nigerian youths has wished beneficiaries a prosperous new year.

In the message shared on its official Twitter page and other social media platforms, administrators of the N-Power scheme while wishing beneficiaries a happy new year, also thanked them for their hard work.

“Happy New Year to all our N-Power beneficiaries. Thank you for all your hard work. Here is wishing you a prosperous 2020! #NPowerNG,” the statement released on Wednesday morning read.

Meanwhile, it will be recalled that the federal government of Nigeria has assured the first set of beneficiaries under the N-Power scheme that it was liaising with state governments and the private sector on the possibility of securing permanent engagement for the 2016 N-Power beneficiaries.

The government made this known when it revealed that no date has been announced for the exit of the first batch of volunteers enrolled under the N-Power scheme.

Justice Bibiye, Communications Manager, National Social Investment Office (NSIO), disclosed this in a statement in Abuja back in November 2019.
