1. Labour Fixes Deadline For Governors To Implement New Minimum Wage

Organized Labour has told State Governors to implement the N30,000 new minimum wage by December 31, 2019, or risk industrial action. Naija News reports that only Kaduna, Kebbi, Lagos, Adamawa, and Jigawa have commenced implementation and payment of the new wage since President Muhammadu Buhari signed the New Minimum Wage Act into law.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed to expose President Muhammadu Buhari’s government as well as Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, northern Nigeria. Nigeria’s youngest Senator, Elisha Abbo, the senator who was in the news some months ago after he assaulted a nursing mother at a sex toy shop in Abuja, has been honoured with “Beacon of Hope” award. The award was given to him at the 4th edition of the Adamawa Celebrities and Achievers Awards (ACAA) held in Yola, Adamawa state capital.

6. Atiku Reacts As Security Operatives Prevent Abuja Bank Robbery

Former Vice President and 2019 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alh. Atiku Abubakar has reacted as security operatives foiled an attempted bank robbery in Abuja on Saturday.
