Senator Abbo, Who Assaulted Woman In A Sex Toy Shop, Gets Award
Nigeria’s youngest Senator, Elisha Abbo, the senator who was in the news some months ago after he assaulted a nursing mother at a sex toy shop in Abuja, has been honoured with “Beacon of Hope” award.
The award was given to him at the 4th edition of the Adamawa Celebrities and Achievers Awards (ACAA) which held in Yola, Adamawa state capital.
The senator had also received an “Icon of Democracy’ by the Inter-community Awareness for Change and Development Initiative (IACDI)” shortly after he beat up the woman.
Abbo may spend three-years in jail, if convicted of assault.
