1. Boko Haram: Shekau Releases New Video On Christmas Day, Says Jesus Is Not The Son Of God

Abubakar Shekau, leader of the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram has released a fresh video on the occasion of the 2019 Christmas celebrations. The video release was confirmed by a popular and respected journalist, Ahmad Salkida on Wednesday, December 25.

2. Sambo Dasuki: I Have No Feud With Buhari, Ready To Face Trial

Former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, on Wednesday, said he has no feud with President Muhammadu Buhari, who ordered his incarceration for four years despite meeting bail conditions and is ready to continue with his trial. Dasuki spoke during a radio interview with the Voice of America, Hausa Service, was quoted when asked if there was a feud between him and the president, as replying, I have no feud with anybody. I am more than that. I can’t engage in a feud with anyone.

3. Presidency Blows Hot, Vows To Appeal Dasuki, Sowore Release

The Presidency has cleared the air on the detention and release of the Convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore. Naija News reports that the Department of State Service (DSS) on Tuesday evening finally released Sowore from detention.

4. Edo APC Crisis: Oshiomhole Rejects Obaseki’s Christmas Gifts

The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has rejected Christmas gifts sent to him by the Edo State Government. This was disclosed by Mr Crusoe Osage, the Special Adviser to Edo State Governor on Media and Communications, in a statement in Benin today.

5. Sambo Dasuki: Former Governor, Lamido Blasts President Buhari

Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alh. Sule Lamido has opined that the bail release of Col. Sambo Dasuki by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari shouldn’t call for celebration. Rather, he said it should be that of reflection and circumspection.

6. Boko Haram Attack Chibok Town, Kills Six

At least six people have been killed and two women kidnapped by Boko Haram fighters in Kwaranglum village in Borno State. Kwaranglum is about a kilometer to Chibok town, Headquarters of Chibok Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.

7. El-Zakzaky’s Shiites Group Attends Church Service, Presents Gift On Christmas Day

Members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), popularly called Shiites on Wednesday attended a Christmas Church service in some parts of northern Nigeria. At different Church of the Advent, Samaru, Zaria, shortly after the service, the leader of the team, Prof. Isa Hassan-Mshelgaru said the essence of attending the service was to promote love, tolerance, and understanding among Nigerians.
