Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has rejected the peace move by the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party to intervene in the crisis with the governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, over the Soku Oil Wells/fields returned to Rivers State by the Federal High Court. The Rivers State governor in a statement through his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, stated that there was no need for the party to intervene in the issue since the court had ruled on the matter.
