1. Buhari Meets Atiku, Fayemi In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. NAN reports that President Buhari also met with the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu.

2. Judge Withdraws From Sowore’s Suit

The Judge in charge of the Omoyele Sowore’s case, Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday withdrew from the case. Justice Mohammed withdrew from the fundamental rights enforcement suit instituted by the convener of the RevolutionNow movement, Sowore, seeking an order for his release from custody of the Department of State Service.
