Nigerian Reacts As DSS Release Sowore, Dasuki
Naija News reported earlier that the Department of State Service (DSS) on Tuesday finally released the Convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore from detention.
This followed a directive given by Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, in a statement issued today.
Malami had also ordered the release of Ex-National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, who had been in the DSS Custody since December 29, 2015.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react, see reactions below:
Those that defended the DDS for re-arresting Omoyele Sowore just 2 weeks ago must be feeling very stupid now. Some even said we should appreciate the ‘freedom’ we are enjoying. Disgraceful and embarrassing sycophancy.

Sowore and Dasuki to be released is a small victory for Democracy, a triumph of laws over the caprices of man and proof that no man should be above the law.
No commendations for the Buhari regime here: they can get that from the shameless ones who once justified the illegality.

I can feel it in my bones: Many of those that supported the illegal detention of Dasuki & Sowore are waiting for their influencer to find a positive angle to the govt decision to release them or to find a way to pour their frustrations on someone… anyone… before they tweet.😂

Sad to see that until the US Congress formally demanded that the government “show leadership” on the Sowore matter, the government held him, despite the outcry of well meaning Nigerians, including some of their renowned supporters. Not a good look. Colonial mentality still.

I can tell you authoritatively that 4 people fought from within to get Dasuki & Sowore released & eventually managed to convince Buhari. They are Abba Kyari, Malami, Hadi Sirika and Kayode Fayemi. They represent the liberal and cerebal wing of the Buhari Govt. & I commend them.

As we welcome the "political" release order on Dasuki and Sowore, the focus must now shift from "release from detention" to true freedom. Part of Sowore's bail conditions says he cannot leave Abuja, must surrender his passport and cannot SPEAK to the press. No true freedom yet.

Breaking: The FG has ordered the immediate release of the convener of #RevolutionNow movement Comrade Omoyele Sowore. Dare to struggle! Dare to win! pic.twitter.com/l153QAhU3G

The court which has the Constitutional POWER, at different times ordered his release but the FG refused.
The supposed release of Omoyele Sowore's is not a display of goodwill or good intentions by the FG.
It's is as a result of intense pressure and possible civil unrest.

Abobaku Twitter, how far?
Your gods have released Sowore and Dasuki o.
Errm, do you want to condemn your gods now since you were convinced holding them against court orders was perfectly okay?
Or, are your gods also right to have released them?
Both actions were right?
LOL

The attack on Deji was led by Kabiru Ibrahim Dallah, among other things, a NANS and NYCN activist. Same guy who was hired by the SSS to recruit urchins who protested at Sowore's hearing 3 weeks pic.twitter.com/ewwpG2ViHb

Correction:::
FG bows to pressure, orders the immediate release of Col. Dasuki and Sowore.
Full details later…..

Since the DSS no longer obey court orders, let's see if they would obey Attorney General order on the release of Dasuki&Omoyele Sowore.
We can conclude then that the DSS is above the law and the courts of the FRN.
It took punch to call him Major General & possible US sanctions.
