Ganduje Gives Emir Sanusi Two Days Ultimatum Over Appointment

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has given the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido, two days to officially accept or reject his appointment.

Naija News had earlier reported that the Kano State Governor appointed Sanusi as the Chairman of Kano State Council of Emirs.

Days after the appointment by the Ganduje-led administration, the Emir of Kano has refused to notify the state government of his acceptance or rejection.

Governor Ganduje revealed the ultimatum in a statement through his Media Aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai.

“The Kano State Government has given a 2day ultimatum (from today) to His Highness the Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido, to officially notify the government his acceptance or otherwise, of his appointment as Chairman, Kano State Council of Emirs,” he tweeted.
