The minority leader of the Senate, Enyinnaya Abaribe, has revealed that the disagreement during plenaries in the Senate is part of a thriving democracy and there is indecency about it.

Abaribe while speaking at an opening remark, to begin a luncheon/media briefing by the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan at the Rockview Hotel, Abuja on Monday, noted that the Senate is united despite disagreement on National Issue.

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, further stated that disagreement is unavoidable due to political, ideological and cultural differences, he added that after the disagreement there is always a meeting point.

“This shows how closely we are working together. The Senate is one, that I can tell you despite seeming disagreements on some national issues.”

“We may disagree on the floor of the Senate. That happens in the interest of the nation.”
