Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation in Nigeria, has denied reports in some quarters that he is about to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Naija News reports that the PDP chieftain who is a strong critic of President Muhammadu Buhari‘s administration made this known in a statement on Sunday, December 15.

Some governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly told him of their resolve to get the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, sacked.

It was gathered that the APC governors who want Oshiomhole sacked include Governors Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa) and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi).

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has accused Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Phillip Shuaibu of threatening to crush him.

In a statement on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Simon Egbuebulem, the former Edo State governor claim Governor Obaseki and his deputy do not have a political base in their locality to win an election.
