Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has warned defender Serge Aurier against mocking former previous managers.

Aurier, an Ivory Coast international, had previously made controversial statements on social media about a former manager at PSG, Laurent Blanc.

The former PSG star was suspended by the club over the statements, after making homophobic slurs towards Blanc via a video message, as well as to several teammates, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Speaking about Aurier, Foot Mercato quoted Mourinho as saying, “I am not laughing. If you think that you can mock me on social media like you’ve done to some of your former managers in the past, you are mistaken.”

Jose Mourinho has won three games out of four for Tottenham in the Premier League since taking over.

Spurs will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League (EPL) on Sunday.
