Some People Within Buhari Govt Trying To Pull Him Down, I Have Facts And Figures - Yahaya Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has faulted the editorial by the Punch Newspaper which changed Muhammadu Buhari’s title from President to Major General.

Naija News recalls Punch took the decision on Wednesday against what it described as “autocracy and military-style repression” and “insufferable contempt for the rule of law” under the Buhari administration.

It vowed not to revert to the ‘President title until noticeable change had been affected by the administration.

The Newspapers also stated that it would describe the current administration as a ‘regime’ due to its dictatorial behaviour.

Speaking to State House correspondents after meeting with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday, Governor Yahaya Bello described President Buhari as the most democratic president he has ever seen.

According to Bello: “Mr President is the most democratic President I have ever seen.

“This is the first time we are seeing a former military head of state that is so democratic to the extent of allowing things happening in his home front to be democratized not to talk of things happening in the country.

“Whoever is tagging him to be a dictator, I think that person wished to be a dictator himself, not Mr President.”
