Female Student Stabbed To Death In Delta Poly

An unidentified female student of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha South L.G.A of Delta state has been stabbed to death by unidentified thugs

It was gathered that the incident occurred around the popular Big Apple Hotel area.

Further investigation revealed that members of the Ogwashi-Uku Community Vigilance group have sealed off the area upon the arrival of policemen attached to Divisional Police Headquarters.

According to a source name withheld, the female student came in the company of her friends but was left alone after she complained of ill health.

she said further that the victim’s attackers might have laid an ambush in the unlit area around the hotel.

It was learnt that the victim had an expensive cell phone on her.

A source suggested that the victim may have been stabbed while resisting the thugs.

According to a resident of the neighborhood, Mr. Jude Okocha lamented that the security situation in the area is bad, that handphones and lady’s bags are constantly being snatched in the area.

The Delta Police image-maker, DSP Onome Onowakpoyeya said she was unaware of the killing, but promised to get more information on the matter.
