FIRS Boss Not Under Investigation - Presidency

Immediate past Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, (FIRS), Tunde Fowler, who was relieved of his duty as the FIRS boss yesterday seems to have pleaded with the federal government  for an extension or second term  in office

Naija News learnt that Fowler had on Monday written a letter to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha for a reappointment.

Here is a copy of the letter below  which was signed by the former FIRS chairman titled, “RE: NOTIFICATION OF EXPIRATION OF TENURE AS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, FEDERAL INLAND REVENUE SERVICE”

Despite this, Fowler’s tenure wasn’t renewed, however, many Nigerians have started taking digs at Mr. Tunde Fowler, former Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) on social media for the tone of his letter for reappointment. here are the tweets as follows
