Funke Akindele Loses Dad

Superstar Nollywood actress and movie producer, Funke Akindele, more popularly known as Jenifa has lost her father.

She announced her father’s death on Monday via her Instagram account.

She wrote:

“Dad!!! May your soul Rest in Peace!! I tried Dad! I did!! We love you but God knows best!!! #iwishicanturnbackthehandsoftime.”

Since the announcement, other celebrities, fans, and well wishers have been dropping their condolence messages on her page.

Naija News understands Funke’s father, a retired school principal was from Ikorodu, in Lagos State. Funke is the second of the man’s three children, two girls and one boy.
