Breaking: DSS Attempts To Rearrest Sowore, Bakare
Information made available to Naija News on Friday says operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) attempted to re-arrest activists Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare.
The duo was only released on bail from detention of the secret police on Thursday evening after a long-drawn court case.
However, reports monitored on Sahara Reporters by our correspondent says DSS operatives stormed the court premises on Friday morning as they attempted to rearrest the two men.
According to the report, the DSS operatives prevented the presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu from sitting and also brutalized a journalist in the process.
A standoff is currently ongoing inside the court premises as the DSS operatives are refusing to allow Sowore and his lawyers come out.
