They Have Inferiority Complex - Sowore Slams Nigerian Leaders

Amnesty International has reacted to the release of Omoyele Sowore, convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement by the Department of the State Service, DSS.

The DSS complied with the orders of Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, less than 24 hours after she gave fresh orders for the release of Sowore.

As earlier reported by Naija News, Sowore was released last night alongside his co-accused Olawale Bakare around 7:15 pm last night.

Reacting, Amnesty International urged Buhari government to drop all charges against Sowore and his accomplices.

The group stated that Sowore was detained because he exercised his freedom of expression hence all charges should be dropped against him.

Through its Twitter page, they wrote: “Amnesty International welcomes the release of Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare.

“We again call on authorities to drop all charges against them.

“We are also calling for the release of Agba Jalingo. All of them were detained solely for exercising their freedom of expression.”
